Midterm Exam

75 Points

This midterm exam will cover your assigned reading, online class content, and web activities for the first module (Understanding Disabilities) and the first topic of the second module (Mild Mental Retardation). The questions will consist of multiple choice, true/false, short answer, a brief vignette with mixed format questions,a nd one brief essay question. Individual questions were developed to represent both online content and textbook readings. Please feel free to contact me if you do not understand a particular question.

SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS FOR QUESTIONS BY TYPE - (click on each link below to go to the questionsfor that format).

Multiple Choice Questions: (23 points)

Be sure to read each question thoroughly. Check all responses that apply. There may be more than one correct answer for each question. Each question will be worth one point. Partial points will be awarded for partially correct answers

True\False Questions: (16 points)

You will be asked to read statements and mark each as true or false. For each true/false question, provide evidence (from online lessons, online activities, or text readings) to support the statement. NOTE: Each question is worth 2 points; one for correctly identifying whether the statement is true or false, one for citing evidence to support your answer (be it true or false).

Short Answer Questions: (17 points)

The questions in this section are intended to be answered by 1-2 short sentences, a series of brief statements or lists of items.

Vignette: (10 points)

You will read a short vignette and answer questions based on the information you have in the vignettes.The point values for the associated questions are are indicated after each question.
