Emotional and Behavioral DisordersIn this topic you will learn about children with emotional and behavioral disorders. The topic is arranged a little differently from the earlier topic on mild mental retardation. In this topic we will look at specific conditions that result in a diagnosis of severe emotional disturbance. Rather than separate out information about characteristics, etiology, and interventions, I have included them in each online lesson. At the conclusion of this topic you will be asked to apply your knowledge to a case study of a child with a severe emotional disturbance. Objectives:
