We now expect some funding from an NSF award to help in the travel of eligible participants. The funding decision will be official in early April, 2012, at which time travel support offers will be made by the organizing committee. In particular, graduate students and new PhD, underrepresented mathematicians, and those without institutional travel support are encouraged to enquire. You may request funding for travel assistance as you register.

The meeting and registration area will be by rooms #17 and #18 of
Building 82, the Southwest Forest Science Complex ,
on Pine Knoll Dr. at the South end of the Northern Arizona University Campus. The meeting rooms are near the main South entrance of the Forestry Building.

Other invited talks will be 30-45 minutes, depending on the organization of the session. Currently there are 3 sessions being formed, Singular Problems, Nuclear Simulations, and General.

Book your room EARLY before rates increase substantially!
There is also an on-campus dorm option, where about $70/night includes two meals per day. Inquire with John Neuberger if interested in this housing option, or re-visit this website as more information becomes available.
With the exception of the Embassy Suites ), all the suggested hotels are within easy walking distance of the Forestry Building. La Quinta is furthest of the close hotels, the Hampton Inn is closest of them, and all are within view of the intersection of Beulah and Forest Meadows, just West of Milton near the I-40/I-17 interchange.

We are 2 hours north by car from Phoenix (PHX airport) . To get to Flagstaff you can:
rent a car
fly to Pulliam Airport (FLG)
take a shuttle van with Flagstaff Express / Arizona Shuttle.

We will be taking a short afternoon trip to nearby (and spectacular) Sedona, AZ. The cost for participants is included in the registration fee; additional guests are welcome for a small additional fee. There will be an optional excursion to the Grand Canyon on Sunday June 10th. The fee for for this is modest; additional guests welcome. See future registration form for more details. Regardless, we hope that you will find the time to see some of our fantastic geographical region!
